I benefici sarebbero evidenti anche nelle donne in moderato sovrappeso che perdono solo il 5% del proprio peso.<br \/>\nIn che modo dimagrire aiuterebbe a prevenire il cancro?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Secondo quanto emerso dallo studio americano, perdere i chili in pi\u00f9 contribuirebbe a ridurre i livelli di markers di infiammazione. Un esempio sono la proteina C reattiva e l\u2019interleukina, due indicatori di un aumento del rischio di malattie cardiovascolari, ma anche di alcuni tumori, come quello alla mammella, al colon, al polmo<\/p>\n<p>ne e all\u2019endometrio. Il rischio pi\u00f9 elevato sarebbe riservato alle donne in menopausa.<\/p>\n<p>I ricercatori hanno esaminato 439 donne obese o in moderato sovrappeso che hanno seguito un programma finalizzato a perdere il 10% del loro peso nell\u2019arco di un anno, attraverso modifiche nella dieta abituale o con un esercizio fisico. Le volontarie sono state divise in 3 gruppi: il primo ha seguito una dieta ipocalorica, al secondo sono stati assegnati 45 minuti di attivit\u00e0 fisica ogni giorno per 5 giorni alla settimana e il terzo gruppo ha dovuto seguire entrambe le indicazioni.<\/p>\n<p>Gli studiosi hanno esaminato i livelli dei biomarkers all\u2019inizio e alla fine dello studio e hanno cos\u00ec concluso che nelle donne che erano riuscite a perdere peso (anche solo il 5%) i livelli dei due biomarkers risultavano significativamente ridotti.
